Tullahoma City Schools officially has a new superintendent ready to take over operations from Dan Lawson later this year. John Carver left, signed a 32-month contract with TCS at a special-called meeting of the school board on Wednesday night, September 5, 2018.

2018-2019 Testing Calendar
Tullahoma City Schools administers state-mandated tests each year, a required universal screener with at least two additional benchmark tests, and elects to administer the Pre-ACT to Sophomores. NAEP testing will be rescheduled for Bel-Aire and East Lincoln Schools. Dates will be posted as soon as they have been determined.
NAEP Testing
NAEP is a common measure of student achievement across the country and is used to inform education policies and practices. Schools and students have an important role in ensuring that NAEP results are accurate. Selected 4th grade students from Bel-Aire Elementary School and selected 8th grade students from East Middle School will be taking the NAEP test. The original dates for testing were cancelled due to illness. NAEP testing has been rescheduled for East Middle School and will be given on Thursday, February 14. A new date to administer the test at Bel-Aire Elementary is currently being determined and will be posted as soon as that date is confirmed.
