Our Day

A day at Little Cats Learning Academy begins with a warm welcome from our staff. We are so excited to see our students each morning! We spend our days making sure our students have all of their needs met from healthy meals, clean diapers, and potty training support, to secure connections, meaningful interactions and experiences, and as many books and songs as we can fit in between! We have daily nap times, and we spend at least 30 minutes of each day outside, as long as the weather permits. We operate on the school calendar, and families are not charged while we are closed for scheduled breaks. We open at 7:15 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

 

Communication

We use Brightwheel for all of our parent and staff communication. Parents download the app on their phone and can message administrators directly or all teachers working in their child’s classroom.  Brightwheel is also used to sign students into and out of our program. This can be done on our kiosk, or the parent can open the app on their phone and scan our QR code. Each parent or approved pick-up person has their own unique 4-digit pin number that they can personalize within the app. Brightwheel is also used to give live updates throughout the day to communicate diaper changes, meals, naps, activities, incidents, and observations.
